| Have you ever been in a place and noticed everyone looks exactly the same? Did you know there is a crowd of individuals out there? Yes they express themselves in the amazing way. They are creative, each person creating his or her own style, their own music, their own look, and their own hair, it just so happens that everyone else has the same thing but, they are individuals with their own identity.
Now I’m not comparing them to this group that was big in the 90's but I can't help but bring up the POP look of that time, preps. It was a time where everyone took on an attitude about them, segregated into little cults with other people, just so that they may belong. Preps were I felt, the largest and most influence cult of that time and set a tone for the next couple of years with its attitude of clean cut, all American athlete, good education, being the best of the best, and having complete authority over whatever you can. Though other groups were equally noticed and heard in their own expression of taste, the prep culture influenced commercials to capital hill and left its brand on the heart of America.
Now emo, the new cult has been more accepting, more artistic, more chill, and encouraging of humility than any cult in the 90’s so, its influence has been widely accepted by the larger culture of America. Its attitude promotes expression of feelings, looking odd with earthly colors and messy hair, accepts everything, and has no absolute. Granted, there is a little bit this everywhere in our nation but I have notices it mostly and deeply in this set of people.
Now I like the look and I like its attitude, hence why I surround myself sometimes with people that are “into” this cult but, I can’t ignore that absolute truth. Christ. The very Word of God That is Absolute. Now I pick on this little cult as if it was the rebellious, punk of a son who’s Father will do anything for him. Only to make my point, there is REBELLION in the majority of our culture and we serve a God who let thousands die because one man took something he shouldn’t have.
Where what you want, listen to what you want, but if you have to ask yourself “am I putting “this” before GOD?” you need to cut that away from your life for a bit and let the Fire of God burn up. Whatever is left will show you the value God saw in it. so i end with this "love the Lord your God with all your Heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and love your nieghbor as yourself." | | |

pray before you go on your day. pray for open minds to come to Christ. pray not only for the words that come out of your mouth, that they be uplifting and full of the truth, pray also for the hearts and the minds of those you will speak to or those which will see you. if you preach his word, if you set and act out in the name of christ, without the covering the spirit, without a word of prayer, it will be like poison to those who see and here.
Luke 7:31-35
31 And the Lord said, “To what then shall I liken the men of this generation, and what are they like? 32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another, saying:
‘We played the flute for you,
And you did not dance;
We mourned to you,
And you did not weep.’
33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ 34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ 35 But wisdom is justified by all her children.”
john the Baptist came with the Law and they rejoiced and danced, Jesus came with Grace and they mourned and cried. they called John a Demon and Jesus a Glutton. yet, those who seek wisdom, those who will not remain willingly ignorant of the truth, are justified.
have you ever wondered why men get so angry when you mention Christ the Lover of your soul? because who hates a lover? if they do not love truth, they will not listen to truth or worse, change it for their selfrightious means and call it truth or "their" truth.
pray... for if you don't hearts will remain hard. prayer will make the word of God and the Love of Christ like a soft feather. accractive to the eye soft to the touch but, it will leave behind a cannonball wound to their sin and repentence there after. | | |

| the strangest people in life are the ones that are the most creative. they will never consider themselves strange at all and the one thing they love to do is show the world through their eyes to people. maybe that is what makes them so strange? that they speak and do and say what is burns inside them, yet these people have just graspped and held one aspect of the gifts inside them. the very same, or similar, gifts inside of you. you are called to create. each of you were created by a creator who loves to create. we were given enough of his desires to want to create. writing, drawing, painting, speaking, acting, math, politics, babies, etc,etc,etc(some more stuff that you would never think of)...it simply is another way to worship him, to love him and to show this world another view of HIM. so feel free to express yourself in such a way that is pure and holy in his eyes and that gives Glory to him, you might be surprised on what things you'll create from the gifted heart inside you. | | |

he is coming, he is so coming, will you sit and wait and watch or will you go and change this world? this is heart his message can't just sit, it has to go. it has to go to the streets, even in this church of america is a lost people group because they have given in to the lies. don't stop, don't sit!
"we will fight till we die, we will stand till our strength is gone, in the name of our God, we will rise above we will overcome"
picture the day, when every light in this world will leave. this place will be very dark. the clouds cover the earth and there is not love or light from anywhere. nothing real. but His light breaks through and he comes and dwells on this earth and opens his grace, destroys everything and rebuilds the city of Gold; with his presence everywhere, and all who are left are those who truly wish to serve in Him... and have.
he is coming back, he is coming back never forget that...never doubt.
